Custom Vinyl Windshield Banner Printing

1. Gather Tools & Prep the Surface

• Tools needed: Spray bottle with soapy water (1 tsp dish soap + 1 quart water), squeegee or credit card (wrapped in a soft cloth), lint-free cloth, masking tape.
• Clean the windshield: Use glass cleaner to remove dirt, dust, and oil. Dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth—any residue will ruin adhesion.

2. Position the Banner

• Peel a small section of the backing from the top of the banner (leave the rest attached). Align this exposed edge with your desired top position on the windshield.
• Secure the top edge with masking tape to hold it in place while you adjust. Step back to check alignment—ensure it’s straight and centered.

3. Apply with Soapy Water (For Bubble-Free Results)

• Spray a liberal amount of soapy water on the windshield surface where the banner will go.
• Slowly peel the remaining backing off the banner, spraying the adhesive side with soapy water as you go (this prevents it from sticking prematurely).
• Lay the banner onto the wet windshield, starting from the top. Use your squeegee to gently push water and air bubbles out from the center toward the edges. Work slowly to avoid creases.

4. Finalize & Dry

• Once all bubbles and water are removed, press the edges firmly with the squeegee to ensure full adhesion.
• Let the banner dry for 24–48 hours (avoid washing the car or exposing it to heavy rain during this time). The soapy water will evaporate, leaving a tight, long-lasting bond.
